Julie Ann Bell

My art reflects a connection between my heart and spirit plus movement of my hands in a dance with recycled and reclaimed wire plus the creativity and energy of our beautiful earth. I use stones and wood found on hikes or given to me by friends & family. Steel baling wire, and recycled copper from the local scrapyard, aluminum, fibers, and found objects find their way into my pieces.

I have taught small group wire classes at Trackside Studios and at Aurora Studios (a non-profit agency providing art classes, materials, and space for persons in recovery with mental illness and/or substance use disorder). I have been an educator for much of my nursing career as a unit based educator and as nursing faculty.
